Our pack family campout will be at the AZ National Guard – Camp Navajo Military Reservation.

Check-in: Between 4:00PM – 6:00PM on Friday

Check-out: 12:00PM on Sunday

Who: All scouts and at least 1 adult – this is a family campout. The entire family is welcome to come!

Cost: The pack is covering the cost for each scout and 1 adult. Additional family members are $10 per person, with a maximum of $25 per family.

Please Note:

  • Food for Saturday and Sunday morning is provided by the Pack. Menu to be announced shortly (think super simple!)
  • Friday Dinner is on your own.
  • Drinks should be brought by each family for their own family members.
  • We have a unique opportunity to sleep in the barracks. You have the choice to share the barracks with any other families that choose to. You MUST stay with your son, so your family can stay in the barracks OR your family can camp out in a tent. If you choose to stay in the barracks, you will need to bring your own bedding.
  • Bring your ID – will need to get on base

Campout Schedule

Friday, September 27th:

Arrive: Anytime at camp after 4 PM

Check in: Check in with Tim Fish or Jennifer Bohnsack to find out where to set up camp

⚜ Set up Camp/Tent: Scouts should participate in set up as this is a requirement for some Adventures

Dinner: On your own

⚜ Games/Activity: Check with your Den Leader

Lights Out: 9 PM

Saturday, September 28th:

7:30 AM Breakfast

8:30 AM Flag Ceremonies: Den Leaders to lead flag ceremony for the Pack. Scouts must be in complete Class A Uniform (Neckerchief, Hat, Shirt, Belt ). After the ceremony, please change to Class B Uniform (t-shirt ) for the rest of the activities

9:00 AM 12:00 PM Den Activities: Please check in with your Den Leaders for planned activities

12:00 PM 1:00 PM Lunch

1:00 PM 1:30 PM Clean up: Everyone asked to participate in lunch clean up

1:30 PM 3:00 PM Fire Station Activities

3:00 PM 4:30 PM Den Activities: Please check in with your Den Leaders for planned activities

5:00 PM 6:30 PM Dinner: Dinner will be provided by the pack.

6:30 PM 7:00 PM Dinner Clean up: Everyone asked to participate in dinner clean up

7:00 PM 8:30 PM Campfire Program*: Each Den will do a skit or song for the program, Awards given *no actual fires due to restrictions

9:00 PM Lights Out: Good Night!!

Sunday, April 21st:

7:30 AM Breakfast

8:30 AM 9:00 AM Interfaith Service: Led by Tim Fish

9:00 AM 10:30 AM Leave No Trace: All Scouts & siblings with a few adult volunteers to participate in Leave No Trace activity to clean up camp

11:30 AM Pack up: Scouts help families pack up and depart camp

12:00 PM Last Walkthrough & Departures: All Den Leaders to participate

Special Instructions

Have all Scouts wash their hands every 2 hours

Friday Dinner is on your own. Pack is NOT providing.

Please bring enough food for your family for all other meals/snacks.

Please make sure that you bring enough water and other drinks desired for your entire family.

Quiet time is observed from 9:30 PM 7:00 AM

Please do not plan to arrive, pack/unpack, or leave camp during quiet time

⚜ Smoking is not allowed

If a campfire is not allowed due to restrictions, we will cook using propane heating units unless under Class 3 restrictions where no ames are permitted
