Our Pack Family Campout will be at the Moqui Campground in Happy Jack, AZ.

Check-in: Between 4:00PM – 6:00PM on Friday
Check-out: 12:00PM on Sunday
Who: All Scouts and at least 1 adult – this is a family campout. The entire family is welcome to come!
Cost: The pack covers the cost for each scout and 1 adult. Additional family members are $10 per person, with a maximum of $25 per family.
Please Note:
- Food for Saturday and Sunday morning is provided by the Pack.
- Friday Dinner is on your own.
- Drinks & snacks should be brought by each family for their own family members.
Campout Schedule
Friday, March 8th:
⚜ Arrive: Anytime at camp after 4 PM
⚜ Check in: Check in with Brian Proud or Trent Bohnsack to find out where to set up camp
⚜ Set up Camp/Tent: Scouts should participate in set up as this is a requirement for some Adventures
⚜ Dinner: On your own
⚜ Games/Activity: Check with your Den Leader
⚜ Lights Out: 9 PM
Saturday, March 9th:
⚜ 8:30 AM Breakfast: Provided by the pack
âšœ 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM Hike, Crafts, Finish Adventure loops and free time to play (see your Den Leader)
âšœ 12:00 PM – 12:30 PM Lunch Prep: Provided by the Pack
âšœ 12:30 – 1:30 PM Lunch: Provided by the Pack
âšœ 1:30 – 2:00 PM Clean up: Everyone asked to participate in lunch clean up
âšœ 2:00 – 2:30 PM Clean up and Change for Crossover
âšœ 2:30 PM – 3:30 PM Flag and Crossover Ceremonies: Den Leaders to lead flag ceremony for the Pack. Scouts must be in complete Class A Uniform (Neckerchief, Hat, Shirt, Belt). After the ceremony, please change to Class B Uniform (t-shirt) for the rest of the activities
âšœ 3:30 – 5:00 PM Free time and Dinner Prep
âšœ 5:00 PM – 6:30 PM Dinner: Dinner will be provided by the pack.
âšœ 6:30 PM – 7:00 PM Dinner Clean up: Everyone asked to participate in dinner clean up
âšœ 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM Campfire Program: Silly songs, skits, jokes and S’Mores!
⚜ 9:00 PM Lights Out: Good Night!!
Sunday, March 10th:
⚜ 8:00 AM Breakfast Provided by the pack
âšœ 9:00 AM – 11:30 AM Scouts help families pack up and load vehicles
⚜ 11:30 AM Leave No Trace: All Scouts & families participate in the Leave No Trace activity to clean up camp
⚜ 12:00 PM Last Walkthrough & Departures: All Den Leaders to participate
Special Instructions
⚜ Have all Scouts wash their hands frequently
⚜ Friday Dinner is on your own. Pack is NOT providing
⚜ Please bring enough food for your family for all snacks
⚜ Please make sure that you bring enough water and other drinks desired for your entire family
âšœ Quiet time is observed from 9:30 PM – 7:00 AM
⚜ Please do not plan to arrive, pack/unpack, or leave camp during quiet time
⚜ Smoking is not allowed
⚜ If a campfire is not allowed due to restrictions, we will cook using propane heating units unless under Class 3 restrictions where no flames are permitted
⚜ Schedule subject to change as necessary
