Registration Steps
Are you ready join the best Cub Scout Pack in AZ?
Pack 247 is a group of amazing Cub Scouts and parents and we would love for you to join us
Joining Cub Scouts requires registration with BOTH Scouting America (Boys Scouts of America) AND Cub Scout Pack 247.
Below are the steps required to register your Scout.
STEP 1
Let us know you are interested in joining!
- Send a message to let us know you are interested:

STEP 2
National Registration
- New Scouts:
- Complete the Scouting America online application;
Click here for the online application - Pay the Scouting America National / Grand Canyon Council Dues (approx $135 + optional $15 Scout Life subscription), this is done as part of the online application process above.
- Complete the Scouting America online application;
- Returning Scouts:
- Make sure to log into your Scouting Account to renew your Scout and pay the National / Grand Canyon Council Dues (approx $135 + optional $15 Scout Life subscription).
STEP 3
Pack 247 Registration
- Complete the Pack 247 New Scout Questionnaire:
Click here for the questionnaire - ALL parents / guardians involved in Scouting are required to complete the Youth Protection Training every 2 years (Scouting America requirement). This is for any adults staying overnight at campouts, this does not apply for just coming to the regular meetings.
Click here to complete the training - Complete the Annual Health & Medical Record Part A & B with immunization records (Scouting America requirement):
Click here for the medical form - Provide a front & back copy of the family health insurance card (Scouting America requirement).
- Pay the Pack dues ($175/year).
STEP 4
Purchase Scout supplies
- Visit the Scout Shop (online or in-person) to buy your Scout’s uniform and handbook.
Click here for details on what you need to purchase - Check with the Pack leadership, we keep a Scout Closet of items that former scouts used and we may have something that will save you some money.
